Plain terms for using Prompt Enhancer.
These terms apply to the Prompt Enhancer Chrome extension, the Prompt Enhancer skill for ChatGPT and Codex, and this website. By installing or using them you agree to these terms. How your data is handled is described separately on the privacy page.
What Prompt Enhancer is
Prompt Enhancer rewrites a draft prompt you have written, or a task you are about to give to an AI, into a clearer prompt. The extension does this beside the message box of supported AI chats and in the Chrome Side Panel; the skill does it inside ChatGPT and Codex. It never sends a message for you: you review the result and decide whether to send it.
Your content
Your drafts, answers and rewritten prompts remain yours. You are responsible for what you send to an AI service and for how you use the results. Prompt Enhancer claims no rights over your content and does not store prompt bodies on its servers.
Free, with a daily allowance
The extension is currently free, with a daily allowance of guided prompts per action that resets at 00:00 UTC. The skill needs no account and has no allowance of its own.
Acceptable use
Do not use Prompt Enhancer to break the terms of the AI service you are using, to overload or attack the Prompt Enhancer service, or to interfere with other users. The Chrome Web Store and OpenAI have their own terms for the extension and the plugin; those terms apply alongside these.
Third-party services
Prompt Enhancer is independent and is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft or any other AI chat provider. Those services, and the Chrome Web Store, are governed by their own terms and may change in ways that affect how Prompt Enhancer works.
No guarantees
Prompt Enhancer is provided as is. A rewritten prompt is a suggestion: it can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, and you should read it before you send it. We do not guarantee that the service is available at all times, that it works with every version of every AI chat, or that results meet any particular standard.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Prompt Enhancer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for lost data or profits, or for the content that an AI service produces from a rewritten prompt. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the extension, the skill or parts of this website at any time. We may update these terms; the current version is always the one published on this page, with the date below. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using Prompt Enhancer at any time by removing the extension or the plugin.
