A prompt enhancer in your Claude chat

Start with your draft. After installing Prompt Enhancer, open Claude in Chrome and write the request you want to send.
Select Enhance. The control appears beside the message box when there is room. The Chrome Side Panel offers the same workflow when page controls are hidden.
Choose the details that matter. If Questions opens, pick an answer, write your own, or leave a question open, then select Enhance. A sufficiently clear draft goes straight to the rewrite.
Review, edit and send. A valid rewrite replaces your draft. Undo and Redo remain available; the extension never presses Claude’s send button.

Your draft, your decisions

Prompt Enhancer reads only the draft needed for the action you start, not your full conversation. When you select Enhance, the draft and your clarification answers are processed by the Prompt Enhancer service and OpenAI. The service does not store prompt bodies. Read the privacy details.

Save and Library keep your saved prompts locally on your device. A Side Panel result can remain in browser session storage for up to 15 minutes.

Does it generate a request from nothing?

No. Bring a draft in your own words. Prompt Enhancer helps clarify and structure it; this page is not an online prompt generator.

Is this a Claude Code plugin?

No. This is a Chrome extension for the message box on claude.ai. It is not a terminal hook, a Claude Code skill, or the Anthropic Console prompt generator.

Is it free?

Prompt Enhancer is currently free, with 50 guided prompts per action per UTC day. Clarification consumes allowance. The daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC.
